Ashley Wolff Visits VUES

Ashley Wolff is an author and illustrator of children's books.  She wrote and illustrated Stella and Roy Go Camping and Miss Bindergarten goes to Kindergarten.  When Ashley Wolff was visiting, she drew pictures for us, she talked about her life growing up in Vermont, and she almost fell into the Grand Canyon when she was visiting it for a book she was writing.

Goldilocks and the Three Bears

After our last performance we find that we all love to read!!! So we wanted to learn to be friends.

So Happy to now be friends and READ READ READ!!!!

On Thursday, we had special guests for the Read-a-thon, Goldilocks and The Three Bears. The Bear family went to every class looking for Goldilocks, but they couldn't find Goldilocks in any of the classes . The bears were roaming the school and the preschool to find her. We want to thank the community group for the idea of the bears.

Open House 2016

Vergennes Union Elementary School hosted a open house. It gives parents a chance to see their kid's classrooms and meet the teachers. You can visit the gym, library, classrooms, etc. We held it on September 22nd. We do this so parents can see what their kids have learned, and what they are going to learn. How does this help? It lets parents meet their kid's teachers.
