September POPS Assembly

Students are greeting each other at the POPS assembly.

The 5th Grade organized and ran the assembly this month.

Mrs. Cadoret and her students did a great job leading the school in a song.

Every classroom had a POPS student of the month.

Trails Cleared in Our Outdoor Classroom

Five volunteers from Middlebury College worked for several hours on Sept. 24 widening the paths in the Outdoor Classroom for VUES.  Their help was greatly appreciated as two Fusion classes will use the site, as well as the Fun Run which is coming up soon!

Donation from Shaw's

Our local Shaw’s store made a $400.00 donation to the school. This generous donation will be used to support special projects and children with needs.

Our New Kindergarten Teacher is Mrs. Bearor

Mrs. Bearor in her classroom.

Our new kindergarten teacher is very nice and fun. She used to work in kindergarten in Bridport. She came here because her mom worked here, and she was a student here. She grew up in Vergennes. Her favorite color is yellow. Her favorite animal is an orca. She went to Champlain College. Her favorite book is the Hungry Caterpillar. She loves strawberry ice-cream with marshmallow sauce and gummy bears. If  she wrote a book, she would call it Travelling Around the World. She is a very good kindergarten teacher and all the kids like her. This concludes "Our New Kindergarten Teacher".
