Top readers from our March read-a-thon were able to select a new book for the VUES library.  Below are the books that are now part of the VUES library collection.  Thank you, Community Group, for purchasing these great new titles!

Need Some Books to Read this Summer?

VUES Library is having a Book Swap

Do you have books that you have read and would like to trade for different books? Come to the Book Swap!

Please bring your used books to Ms. Foley in the  library by May 28th.   Participating students will get credit for each book that is donated to the swap.  On June 1st, students can exchange their credits for books from the Swap.   

Swap Dates:

Monday, June 1st  Book Swap is open from 7:30-8:00am

June 1st - June 5th   During regularly scheduled  library classes

Limit 3 Books per Person: If you would like to donate more books to the Swap, speak with Ms. Foley.

*During the last week of school, any leftover books will be given to students that have returned all their library books.  

All State Parade

The VUES Marching Band traveled down to Middlebury on May 6th to participate in the All State Parade.  This was the first scheduled parade of the year.  If you missed it, you can see our musicians again in Essex on May 23rd and at the Vergennes Memorial Parade on May 25th.  

Green Up Day

Some 5th and 6th grade students helped out with Green Up Day last Friday.   They collected litter along the sidewalk on East Street and Green Street.
